We are Tritility, a growing commercial energy consultancy based in the North East.

Working with the UK’s leading energy suppliers, we help businesses to save money on their utilities and reduce their environmental impact through energy saving initiatives.

As a result of our recent growth, we have an exciting vacancy for a Marketing Executive.

This is a part-time role initially, with scope to increase hours over time and ideal for someone looking to develop their career.

About the Role

The Tritility marketing team is responsible for developing the brand, and communicating key messages to our audience, which includes clients, prospective employees and existing staff.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities for creativity, as the role includes producing graphics, blogs and articles. You’ll also have the chance to flex your strategic thinking skills, producing reports, analysing campaigns and planning new initiatives.

You will be mainly based in our Washington office, but travel to Jarrow may also be required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Designing graphics for printed and digital communications, including social media
  • Writing blogs and articles
  • Event planning
  • Reporting and analytics
  • Internal communications
  • Updating the website and intranet
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends
  • Competitor analysis

Job requirements

What we’re Looking For

This position would suit a marketing executive with a minimum of 12 months experience.

This is the perfect role for someone with excellent writing skills, a creative mind and a flare for visual design.


  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Some experience with Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Basic understanding of SEO
  • The ability to think creatively and come up with fresh ideas
  • The ability to manage and prioritise your own workload


  • Some experience in video editing
  • An understanding of the principles of SEO
  • An understanding of Google Analytics
  • Experience in producing social media campaigns
  • Knowledge of the energy sector is advantageous
